McGill's brings back the conductor on service 38

We are trialling a conductor service on our busy Paisley to Glasgow routes!

The trial began on 21st December and we introduced conductors on the peak morning and afternoon journeys of our high-frequency 38 service. Passengers are able to simply board and buy their ticket from the conductor from their seats.

Colin Napier, Head of Service Delivery at McGill’s said, "As a company, we are always looking at new and innovative ways of improving our service; for the benefit of our existing customers and to encourage more people to try McGill’s. We’re delighted with the very positive feedback received so far. The conductors have been a welcome blast from the past, but the idea is new to many of our customers.”

Colin added: "The trial began during the Christmas week, and will continue throughout January. It allows us to offer speedier boarding and a quicker journey into Glasgow for our regular commuters. Initial customer feedback has been very positive with passengers appreciating the chance to board the bus and get settled, buying their ticket from the comfort of their seat!”

Look out for McGill’s conductors on service 38 next time you travel.
